Fox and Badger – Introduction
The fox and the badger had been friends for as long as they could remember. They had grown up together in the dark magic forest and had always stuck together, no matter what.
But lately, things had been different. The fox had been acting strange, almost as if he was trying to avoid the badger. And the badger didn’t know why.
One day, after days of the fox avoiding him, the badger decided to follow him. He wanted to see what his friend was up to. The fox led him deep into the forest, to a place the badger had never been before. In the center of a small clearing was a large, dark tree. And hanging from one of its branches was a small, silver key.
The fox reached up and took the key, then turned to the badger and said, “I’ve been chosen, my friend. Chosen to enter the Dark Lord’s castle and defeat him. I must go alone.” The badger didn’t want to let his friend go alone, but he knew that this was something the fox had to do. So he just nodded and said, “Be careful, my friend. I’ll be waiting for you when you come back.”
The fox turned and walked away, leaving the badger alone in the clearing. The badger waited for what felt like hours, but the fox never came back. He started to worry that something had happened to his friend.
Finally, he couldn’t take it anymore. He had to find out what had happened to the fox.So he set off into the forest, following the path the fox had taken. He didn’t know what he would find, but he had to try.
As he walked, he could feel the eyes of the forest upon him. Watching him. He tried to ignore it and focus on finding the fox, but it was hard.
He came to the edge of a cliff and looked down. Far below, he could see the Dark Lord’s castle. And there, in front of the castle gates, was the fox.
The badger couldn’t believe it. His friend had actually made it. He wanted to shout for joy, but he knew he had to be careful. If the Dark Lord found out he was there, he would be in danger.
So he just watched from the safety of the cliff as the fox disappeared into the castle. Then he turned and started the long walk back home, knowing that his friend would be coming back soon.
Hi guys, I have always been fascinated by dark forests and the creatures that live there. When I was thinking about what kind of story I wanted to write, I knew I wanted it to be set in a dark forest. And I wanted the main character to be a fox. As I was thinking about the story, I started to wonder what would happen if the fox had to go into the Dark Lord's castle. I thought it would be a really suspenseful and exciting story. And I wanted the badger to be a part of it, because I thought it would be interesting to have two friends who were so different, yet so close. One day I will continue the story of the two with a bigger adventure!

The fox is so brave! I can’t believe he made it to the Dark Lord’s castle! I hope he comes back soon!
